Emeric founded Webedia's Data department from the ground up, navigating high uncertainty and limited resources. He successfully scaled a top-tier team alongside a sustainable and efficient data stack.

I worked with Emeric as Head of Operations at AlloCine. Emeric has a strong ability to understand business realities and translate them into clear, practical decision-support tools. He designed BI tools that helped product and editorial teams analyze audience behavior, monitor content performance, and make better-informed strategic decisions. He was also instrumental in bringing the AlloCine recommendation engine project into production by bridging business needs, data science work, and technical constraints.

I worked under Emeric's management for 4 years at Webedia. He hired me as an intern to build a recommendation system for AlloCine, then supported my growth up to the role of lead data scientist. Emeric has a sharp, pragmatic understanding of the AI and data science project lifecycle: he knows how to connect business objectives with realistic data science approaches, and how to build the data engineering foundations needed to move beyond prototypes. He is also a manager who knows how to grow his teams: low turnover, a healthy balance between run and build projects, and above all the ability to hand over the reins at the right moment.

Emeric worked with us as a consultant to build a business intelligence foundation from scratch for our travel e-commerce platform ($+100M CA). Within three months, he gathered requirements across business teams, coordinated the technical interface with IT, and delivered BigQuery datamarts and a first dashboarding layer. His work gave teams a clearer, more reliable way to monitor business performance and make data-informed decisions.

I had the pleasure of working under Emeric's management on several consulting projects at Converteo, and I can confidently say he is : a strong analytical thinker, a technical expert and an excellent mentor. Emeric combines deep technical and analytical expertise with a genuine ability to develop the people around him. He personally taught me SQL, guided me through building dashboards, and helped me adopt rigorous data preparation practices. He consistently took the time to explain the reasoning behind each approach rather than simply providing answers.
